RIDGEFIELD, CT — A handful of residents expressed their concerns over a planned self-storage facility at 800 Ethan Allen Highway, off the east side of Route 7, at a public hearing on Tuesday, the Ridgefield Press is reporting.
Three residents expressed concerns over truck traffic during construction, the building's architectural aesthetics, and the ecological effect upon nearby Little Pond a local aquifer.
The hours for the storage facility, once completed, call for it to be accessible to renters seven days a week, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The forum was given at a combined hearing of the Planning and Zoning Commission, Inland Wetlands Board and Aquifer Protection Agency, and is set to be continued on July 30.
