Ridgefield Rocks Again: BandJam 2018 Scheduled for The Playhouse
The annual Battle of the Bands has raised more than $100,000 for the Ridgefield Playhouse since 2010.

RIDGEFIELD, CT --- BandJam, the annual fund raiser for the Ridgefield Playhouse featuring musical competitions among local musicians, is set to blow the roof off that very same playhouse on Sunday, April 22, at 4:00 p.m.
Each year local bands vie for bragging rights as BandJam champion. Bands are judged on musicianship, quality of sound, and showmanship. In this year's battle, middle school rockers 2 Minute Minors, Band2, Sky Bandits and The 7's will be joined by high school stalwarts Abby & The Roadsters, Gilbert, Orbit and Sound Beacon. BandJam 2018 judges include Broadway's Debbie Gravitte, Living Color bassist Doug Wimbish and i95fm’s Ethan Carey.
BandJam began as the brainchild of local students Cole Butchen, Michael Rosamilia and Tucker Hearon in 2010. The event has raised over $100,000 for the Playhouse through 2016.
All proceeds from the event support the Ridgefield Playhouse.
