RIDGEFIELD, CT — The first day of school in Ridgefield is August 29 for grades kindergarten through ninth, and August 29 for grades 10-12. Whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you'll want to mark those dates on your calendar. The Ridgefield School District has released its 2019-2020 calendar for public schools.
The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences. What it doesn't include is a list of back-to-school essentials and where to find them; you can find that here.
