Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra Welcomes New Executive Director in 50th Season

The Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra’s 2014-15 season celebrates a golden anniversary and a new Executive Director, Lawrence “Larry” Kopp.

Mr. Kopp has previously led four professional orchestras throughout the United States. He also served in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper with Airborne and Special Operations units.

Mr. Kopp said of his service, “The leadership and management skills I learned in the Army I use every day as an Executive Director. I’m proud of my service and having served with so many great Americans.”

His plans for the RSO include increased methods of communication, educational programs for all ages and encouraging more community involvement.
