Ridgefield Unanimously Stays Atop Girls Soccer Rankings

The defending Class LL champion Tigers shut out each of their first seven opponents.

RIDGEFIELD, CT — The first four spots remained unchanged in the weekly Class LL/L high school girls soccer poll, with Ridgefield collecting all five first-place votes for the second straight week.

The Tigers, defending Class LL champions, started the season by shutting out their first seven opponents by a cumulative score of 27-0. Staples, Suffield and St. Joseph maintained spots two through four.

In Classes M/S, Notre Dame-Fairfield moved into the top spot ahead of Granby Memorial, with Immaculate and North Branford rounding out the top four.

Here are the top 10 in each category, including last week's ranking and with first place votes in parentheses. Also include are all other teams receiving votes.
