Ridgefield To Vote On 2024-25 Budget Referendum Tuesday

RIDGEFIELD, CT — Residents will vote Tuesday, May 14, on the town budget referendum.
The polls will be open at Yanity Gym, 60 Prospect Street, from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Voters will weigh in on a $168 million total operating budget, a 3.88 percent spending increase from the current year. The spending plan includes $115 million for the schools, a 3.97 percent increase from the current budget. If approved, the mill rate would increase from 25.81 to 26.35, a 2.09 percent hike.
