Branchville could be in for a makeover if two grant projects are approved by voters.

RIDGEFIELD, CT — Two grant projects will go before voters on Nov. 29 in Ridgefield on road projects in Branchville, reports the Ridgefield Press. Voters will decide on a $7 million package in two state and federal grant proposals.
The two grants have been scheduled for a public hearing and town meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 29 at 7:30 p.m. in town hall.
One of the projects focuses on the reconstruction of the Portland Avenue bridge near Branchville Train Station. The town's share would be $208,000.
The other project will improve "pedestrian connectivity," adding sidewalks and street lamps on the west side of Rte. 7.
