RIDGEFIELD WEATHER ALERT: Winter Storm Warning, Hazardous Weather in Effect
Here is an updated forecast from the National Weather Service.
A Winter Storm Warning is in effect until 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27. A Hazardous Weather Outlook is also in effect through midnight.
Below is the latest update from the National Weather Service.
- Today- Light snow. High near 21. Wind chill values between 5 and 10. Northwest wind 15 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.
- TonightA chance of light snow, mainly before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 8. Wind chill values between -5 and 5. North wind 9 to 11 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
- WednesdayAreas of blowing snow. Mostly sunny, with a high near 25. Wind chill values between -5 and 5. North wind 10 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph.
- Wednesday NightMostly clear, with a low around 5. North wind 5 to 7 mph becoming calm in the evening.
- ThursdayA chance of light snow after 1pm. Increasing clouds, with a high near 28. Calm wind becoming south around 6 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
- Thursday NightLight snow likely. Cloudy, with a low around 23. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
