Ridgefield Wetlands Board To Review 6 Projects, Tree-Cutting Violation
Ridgefield wetlands officials will review six projects Sept. 10, including a tree-cutting violation and residential construction.
RIDGEFIELD, CT — The Ridgefield Inland Wetlands Board will review six applications Sept. 10 involving proposed construction or work within wetlands upland review areas, including a plan to correct a tree-cutting violation on Carriage House Drive.
The board will also discuss work performed without approvals on Bennetts Farm Road, proposed construction of a septic system and driveway on Carriage House Drive and plans for a pool, garage and home improvements at other properties.
Carriage House Drive Applications
Two applications involve property at 0 Carriage House Drive, owned by AERIE AT F4-007 LLC.
Applicant Gaurangkumar Rana is seeking a summary ruling for construction of a septic system and driveway, along with grading and related site work within the upland review area of wetlands and watercourses.
A separate application seeks to correct a wetlands violation involving clear-cutting of trees within the upland review area.
Bennetts Farm Road Work Under Review
At 225 Bennetts Farm Road, the board will review a revision to an earlier summary ruling application concerning work performed without approvals within the upland review area.
Justin Stoney is listed as the property owner and Michael Mazzucco as the applicant.
Garage, Home Addition And Pool Proposed
Three other residential projects are scheduled for review.
David and Susan Jeffries are seeking a summary ruling for construction of a detached garage at 157 Spring Valley Road. Doug MacMillan is listed as the applicant.
At 100 Holmes Road, Timothy and Melanie Dascenzo are proposing an addition, deck, patio and stormwater system. Kevin Bennett is the applicant.
The board will also review a proposal for a pool, patio and trellis at 141 High Ridge Ave.. The property owner is listed as Seagriff Rosemary Trustee, with MacMillan as the applicant.
All three projects would involve construction within wetlands or watercourses upland review areas.
Wetlands Regulations Also On Agenda
Under other business, the board is scheduled to discuss the town's Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Regulations and a resolution of approval involving 599 Branchville Road.
The board will also review its list of ongoing enforcement matters and consider approval of minutes from its July 23 and Aug. 27 meetings and a Sept. 6 site walk.
The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10, and will be held remotely through Zoom.
