Ridgefield Winter Club Withdraws Application

The proposal had proven unpopular with residents.

RIDGEFIELD, CT — The Ridgefield Winter Club withdrew it's plan for an outdoor ice rink and indoor clubhouse.

A special permit application didn't prove that the club wouldn't have a significant impact on noise in the area, according to the Ridgefield Press.

The plan was heavily criticized at several hearings with 45 residents against the proposal and five in favor.
