Ridgefielder Wins Pulitzer Prize

A Ridgefield resident helped the New York Times take home its 122nd Pulitzer Prize Monday.

RIDGEFIELD, CT — A Ridgefield native has added another Pulitzer Prize to his resume after his investigative reporting team took home the newspaper's 122nd prize Monday.

Mike McIntire, along with 10 other journalists won the prize for international reporting for their series on Russia's covert projection of power, and how Russian cyberpower invaded the U.S., according to the New York Times.

According to the Wilton Bulletin, McIntire lives in Ridgefield and formerly worked on the Bulletin's staff. The New York Times took home three pulitzer prizes taking their total to 122, the most of any newspaper.
