Ridgefield's CHIRP Concert Series: Bluegrass Band 'Mile Twelve'
The Boston-based blugrass phenoms kick off the summer series on May 29.
RIDGEFIELD, CT -- Concert Happenings in Ridgefield's Parks, or CHIRP, has announced an eclectic summer schedule that kicks off on Tuesday, May 29, and continues every Tuesday through August 21.
The first performance will be by Mile Twelve, a bluegrass band out of Boston. Formed in 2014, the young group has already toured and performed extensively throughout the U.S., Canada, Ireland, New Zealand and Australia. They were the winner of the 2017 Momentum Award by the International Bluegrass Music Association.
The concert is free, and begins at 7:00 p.m. in Ballard Park, located at 485 Main Street (corner of Main and Gilbert St) in Ridgefield.
