Riko’s Pizza Plans New Location In Ridgefield

Riko's Pizza plans a new Ridgefield location — here's the When and the Where…

RIDGEFIELD, CT — Riko’s Pizza announced plans to open a new restaurant at 955 Ethan Allen Highway, with the location expected to open this summer.

The restaurant is under development and will be the company’s sixth corporate-owned location and 13th overall.

“We’re thrilled to bring the Riko’s experience to this historic and culture-filled community, which is perfectly situated along the New York border, further enhancing our Western Connecticut presence,” said Carl Bachmann, president and CEO of Riko’s Pizza.

Bachmann praised the town's "fantastic dining scene" and "strong sense of local pride," which he said made Ridgefield "the perfect place for our signature bar pies, craft beverages, and welcoming neighborhood atmosphere."

The Ridgefield location will include a full-service restaurant and bar. Plans call for a 3,000-square-foot upstairs dining area with 16 bar seats, as well as an open dining space, televisions, outdoor patio seating, a private dining room on the lower level and a takeout area.

“Ridgefield is about to experience what our bar pies are all about,” said Rico Imbrogno, founder and executive chairman of Riko’s Pizza. “We’ve built something really special with Riko’s, and I’m excited to bring our energy, one-of-a-kind menu, and nostalgic atmosphere to this community.”

Riko’s Pizza was founded in 2011 and operates corporate-owned and franchise locations in Florida, New York and North Carolina.

In Connecticut, Riko's Pizza has locations in Darien, Fairfield, Norwalk, Westport and two restaurants in Stamford.
