Several Ridgefield Students Honored For Excellence
Twins will perform both a solo and duet at a recital at Carnegie Hall this month.
RIDGEFIELD, CT — Local school officials shared good news involving several students at Ridge Middle School and Ridgebury Elementary School.
On social media, school officials said, Six Scotts Ridge Middle School students took top awards in the annual Veterans of Foreign Wars Patriot Pen Essay Contest. This year’s theme was “How Can I Be a Good American?”
And officials added that Ridgebury Elementary third-graders Ari and Mia Rothschild were selected as winners of the Crescendo International Music Competition and will perform both a solo and duet at a recital at Carnegie Hall on January 22. The twins, who have only been playing piano for two years, have won numerous other piano competitions, including the Prometheus International Music Contest in Italy.
