Danbury resident John Patrick hosted a "Meet the Author” event at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. This community event had a philanthropic twist, all book sales benefited Housatonic Habitat for Humanity. Seventy-five people were in attendance and learned about Patrick's new book, Robot Attitude: How Robots and Artificial Intelligence Will Make Our Lives Better as well as other books in his series called “It’s All About Attitude”.

"All of the proceeds were donated to Habitat. Practical Robotic Services, Microsoft, and the nationally acclaimed League of Extraordinary Roboticists were there and educated all of us about robots," Patrick remarked. "Thanks to all for a great night in support of Habitat," he added.

Housatonic Habitat for Humanity focuses on making a meaningful difference in the lives of qualified working families by promoting financial stability and self-sufficiency through ownership of affordable homes. Households often consist of those who have limited assets and who have jobs that also have income caps.
