Picture this: Poets read works of poetry amidst the gardens of the Hill-Stead Museum in Farmington.
The garden features brick walkways and 36 perennial beds of more than 90 plant varieties, according to the Hill-Stead Museum website.
On July 10, poet Carolyn Forche will read poetry. She is presently working on a memoir of her time spent in El Salvador, Lebanon, South Africa and France.
