From the Theatre Barn: We'd Like To Say Thank You
The Ridgefield Theater Barn has much to be grateful for so they sent this message via email to their patrons.

Ridgefield, CT - We have a lot of people and organizations to thank for inspiring, supporting, and connecting with us, and we thought now would be a perfect time.
First, we are incredibly grateful to the Rotary Club of Ridgefield, matched by Rotary District 7980, who awarded the Ridgefield Theater Barn a District Grant to complete the installation of our state-of-the-art assistive hearing system and the second phase of our sound system upgrade.

This system by Listen Technologies is the only one of its kind in Ridgefield and uses Bluetooth technology to bring balanced, amplified sound to anyone who wants it. Connecting to the app “Listen Everywhere” via a dedicated wireless network to a smartphone, the system feeds directly into the patron’s Bluetooth hearing aids, cochlear implants, earbuds, or headphones.
Additionally, audio-loop headsets are available for patrons without Bluetooth connectivity. Listen Technologies provides services used by many prestigious venues, including The Gershwin Theatre on Broadway, the Dallas Cowboy Stadium, and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
In addition to providing the best possible experience for our patrons, this system provides an invaluable service for our hearing-impaired students, actors, staff, and volunteers. It is always on, and once they connect initially, users do not have to ask for access again. They simply open the app to connect when they walk through our doors. Being able to offer this system is important to our community mission of inclusion, respect, and joy in everything we do here at the RTB.
With so many challenges facing us, it's heartening to know that when we do finally open our doors again to our lovely patrons, it will be in an even more accessible and inclusive way.
Thank you Rotary Club and Rotary District 7980!!

Thank you for you connecting with us!
Whether you're tuning in to Pamme's twice-weekly Ghost Light sessions on Facebook (Wednesdays and Saturdays at 8:45 pm) - always fresh, always fun - leaving comments on our posts, liking our Instagram photos, or emailing us just to tell us you miss us and how important we are to the community (seriously, do you know how wonderful that feels?), THANK YOU!!!!
In this time of physical distancing, it has never been more important to be social - to forge and reinforce connections. All of you have proven what we've always known: our community theater is not only all about THEATER, it is all about COMMUNITY.
Right now we can't do theater, and it breaks our hearts. But we can do community - and all of you are answering the call by doing it with us.
Thank you for making our hearts full and inspiring us every day!
