Upcoming Open Houses In Norwich

NORWICH, CT — Norwich's open houses this weekend include the Learned-Aiken House in the Chelsea Parade Historic District, a condo in the former Thermos factory with Thames River views and a five-bedroom house rebuilt top to bottom on Lee Avenue.

Nine Norwich homes are holding open houses Saturday, Oct. 24, and Sunday, Oct. 25, with prices from $224,900 to $725,000, according to Zillow.com.

Saturday, Oct. 24

37 Lambert Drive, 10 a.m. to noon (also Sunday, 10 a.m. to noon), $325,000. This 1952 Cape has hardwood floors on the main level, a first-floor primary bedroom, a walkout basement with a wood stove that's ready to finish, a large deck, a 2022 roof and a storage shed, according to the listing. It's a three-bedroom, one-bath home with 1,306 square feet. Its price was cut by $24,900 on Sept. 20.

5 Hamilton Court, 1 to 2:30 p.m., $235,000. This single-level 1950 home has a large, sprawling yard and a 12-by-12 deck, according to the listing. It's a two-bedroom, one-bath home with 672 square feet.

21 Carey Lane, 1:30 to 3 p.m. (also Sunday, 10 a.m. to noon), $399,000. This 1962 Cape has a spacious eat-in kitchen and a large, flat backyard, according to the listing. It's a four-bedroom, two-bath home with 1,575 square feet on 0.4 acres.

64 Briar Hill Road, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., $499,900. In a secluded subdivision, this 1969 Colonial has hardwood and tile floors, a kitchen with granite, a center island and a breakfast nook, a family room with a fireplace, a three-season sunroom and an attached two-car garage, according to the listing. It's a four-bedroom, 2.5-bath home with 2,100 square feet on 0.95 acres. Its price was cut by $25,100 on Oct. 21.
