WATCH: Ridgefield Police & Prospector Theater Offer Safety Tips on Playing Pokémon GO

"We're happy to see everyone out there playing the Pokémon GO game...getting out into the community and interacting with one another."

RIDGEFIELD, CT — The Ridgefield Police Department, in partnership with The Prospector Theater, has put out an informative and humorous safety video advising residents on how to play Pokémon GO safely.

The video, presented by Prospect Productions, includes prospectors acting as PokéTrainers who show what not to do while playing the interactive game.

Ridgefield Police Captain Jeff Kreitz and Officer Christopher DeFalco remind residents not to trespass, be alert while crossing the street and "don't Pokémon and drive."
