Weston, Redding & Easton Coronavirus Updates: 142 Confirmed Cases

Here are the latest, local updates on how the coronavirus outbreak is impacting Weston, Easton and Redding.

WESTON/REDDING/EASTON, CT — The Connecticut Department of Public Health has confirmed 60 active cases of the new coronavirus in Weston, 55 in Redding and 27 in Easton on Sunday.

The number of positive cases statewide rose by 687 over the past 24 hours, while deaths increased by 62 and the number of hospitalizations dipped by another 44. Just under 80,000 people have been tested.

The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Connecticut is now at 25,269 and the number of deaths has risen to 1,924, according to the state Department of Public Health. There are currently 1,766 people hospitalized due to the coronavirus.
