When Danielle Verrilli opened her boutique at 7 Bailey Avenue, after 20-plus years of retail in New York City, she chose a name that reflects her sense of family and community: Audrey Road. “That’s the street on Long Island where I and four generations of my family have lived,” she said. Audrey Road carries vintage and contemporary accessories, including Follie, a line of jewelry designed by Ridgefield resident Stacy Cronin, and Blossom Box, eastern-inspired pieces made with semi-precious stones. “A new favorite are the beautiful earrings by Malaysian-born Prudence C,” she said. “These lines complement the classic t-shirts by C&C California and Meli Bianco handbags, which offer luxury at a great price.” Ms. Verrilli brings her sense of design and value to home collections, including freezer-to-table dishware by Ittala of Finland and handcrafted serving trays by David Rasmussen. She invites clients to stop by for help in styling a “look” for a special occasion. Many lines can be specially ordered, and jewelry designers will make pieces to order. Other Audrey Road services include house and office parties and ”tween” birthday parties. Ms. Verrilli regularly supports local charities, and her shop has hosted events for such organizations as the Ridgefield Educational Foundation.
