Woman Arrested For DUI After Two-Car Crash in Ridgefield: Police
A woman was arrested after a two-car crash on West Mountain Road Thursday.
RIDGEFIELD, CT — A Newtown woman was arrested in Ridgefield for driving under the influence after a two-car crash on West Mountain Road Thursday, according to Ridgefield Police.
According to the police report, the woman was involved in a two-car crash on near Oscaleta Road at 7:48 p.m. Thursday. Police say there was extensive damage to both vehicles, but nobody was injured.
Leslie Caplan, 47, of West Street in Newtown was charged with driving under the influence and failure to maintain lane.
She was released on a $100 cash bond, and is due in Danbury Superior Court on March 10.
