Wondering if you have a Food Sensitivity? (Why allergy testing alone may not be enough...)

Food sensitivities are sneaky tricksters.

Most of us know, when our throat closes up and we go into a state of anaphylaxis that there's an allergy to blame. Allergies to foods typically present themselves clearly and often within moments of consumption. It's pretty obvious when you eat shrimp and your lips swell that there's a problem.

I wish I could say the same about food sensitivities....

Like allergies, food sensitivities are the result of an immune response. The body believes that the food is a foreign invader and produces antibodies to fight back. In the case of a food sensitivity, the symptoms of this reaction are often much more subtle than those of an allergy, making them harder to diagnose. Further, because food sensitivities often go unaddressed, they can be the underlying cause of many conditions.

Do You Have Any of these Symptoms?

Dizziness

Coughing

Poor Memory

Chest Pain

Heart Irregularities

Foggy Thinking

Learning Disorders

Arthritis

Sudden Changes in Blood Pressure

 Eczema

Headache

Diarrhea

Constipation

Abdominal Pain/Cramps

Sneezing

Asthma

Nausea/Vomiting

Rashes

Insomnia

Chronic Fatigue

Earache

Blurred Vision

Insomnia

Sinusitis

Depression

Canker Sores

Sore Throat

Hearing Loss

Etc.

If you are all too familiar with some of the items on this list, you may be a candidate for food sensitivity testing. A simple blood test can shed light on the foods that are friends and foes.
