Wooster School Cross Country Wins Boys & Girls HVAL Championship!
Wooster ran away with the wins! The boys team won a battle with Christian Heritage. The girls team beat out Harvey and Christian Heritage.
Wooster ran away with the wins! Wooster School Generals, Boys and Girls, won the 2017 Housatonic Valley Athletic League (HVAL) Cross Country Championships.
The boys team won the championship in a hard fought battle with Christian Heritage (44-48). Senior Daniel Michael led the boys finishing the demanding South Kent course in 3rd place with a time of 20:02 he was followed closely by his teammates Bennett Wattles and Lucas Fink. All three seniors finished in the top 10, earning medals.
The girls team also ran an incredible race. It came down to a 3 point difference. They narrowly beat out Harvey School and Christian Heritage (50-53-54). Senior Caylynn Maldonado came in 2nd setting the tone for the Generals. She was followed closely by Juniors Lauren Guzzardi and Julia Bauer.

Next up, the team is headed to the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) Championship meet on Saturday, November 11.
