BERLIN/WETHERSFIELD/NEWINGTON/ROCKY HILL, CT — Residents are being encouraged to participate in a Community Health Needs Assessment Survey being conducted by the Central Connecticut Health District (CCHD).

The last day of the survey is Thursday, June 4.

Town officials shared the survey this week, urging residents to provide feedback on community strengths, challenges and public health priorities.

According to the CCHD, responses will help the agency better understand the needs of residents and inform future programs, services, and health initiatives throughout the district.

The Community Health Needs Assessment is a standard public health planning tool used to identify issues affecting residents and establish priorities for addressing them.

Survey results are typically used to guide resource allocation, strategic planning, and community health improvement efforts.

Area residents can complete the survey online through a link provided by the town or by accessing a QR code included in the announcement.

Town officials said community participation is important to ensure the assessment reflects a broad range of perspectives and experiences from residents.
