ROCKY HILL, CT — A juvenile was hospitalized after being knocked unconscious in an E-bike crash Monday in Rocky Hill, according to police.
Emergency crews responded around 7:45 p.m. on Sept. 7 to Moser School on School Street on the report of a juvenile bicyclist who was found unconscious.
Police said arriving officers found the juvenile and immediately began providing medical assistance.
The juvenile was taken to a local hospital and was listed in stable condition on Monday night.
"A preliminary investigation indicates that, for unknown reasons, the bicyclist lost control, causing the juvenile to be ejected from the bicycle and strike the ground," police wrote in a news release.
Police said the juvenile's parent was notified.
"Given the serious nature of the collision, the Mid-State Accident Reconstruction Squad was activated and is conducting the investigation," police wrote.
