- Eighteen Eastern Connecticut State University students are participating in percussion ensembles this spring 2019 semester. The Percussion Ensemble, Percussion Group and World Percussion Ensemble each offer an opportunity for instrumentalists to perform exclusively on percussion instruments in a chamber setting. Among the student musicians is Christiana Montalbano of Rocky Hill, who majors in New Media Studies and Music. Montalbano is in the Percussion Ensemble.

- Three Western New England University students from Rocky Hill were named to the fall 2018 President's List. Students are named to the President's List for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.80 or higher. Rocky Hill honorees and their majors are Grace Fisher, Forensic Biology; Kyle Carducci, Business Analytics & Information Management; and Alexander Sikorski, Finance.
- Western New England University congratulates more than 700 students, including three from Rocky Hill, named to the fall 2018 Dean's List. Students are named to the Dean's List for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.30 or higher. Honorees from Rocky Hill and their majors are Matthew DiBattista, Finance; Ricky Montalvo, Finance; and Matthew Emmanuel, Sport Management.
