Belden Library To Host 'Clearing The Clutter: A Practical Approach During The Pandemic'
The two-hour online workshop is set for Saturday.
Saturday, Jun. 13, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
As the pandemic continues and we find ourselves still spending significant time at home, many of us haven't done even half of what we thought we would when we started to shelter in place. We had grand ideas for organizing and decluttering. We thought for sure this time would be different. Instead, we became our own worst decluttering enemy. We got excited about what we’re going to do and how we’re going to do it, only to start too big, too fast, and with too high expectations for getting rid of the stuff in our cluttered cupboards, cabinets, and closets. No wonder we failed or lost interest! But, what if there’s a better way?

In this 2-hour online workshop, Dr. Hughes will give participants the tools they need to successfully complete a decluttering or downsizing project of their choosing. Come ready to share your decluttering challenges and learn how they can be transformed into successes! Every participant will come away with a step-by-step plan suited for their own project based on psychological research and minimalism principles. This workshop will take place through Zoom. Registration is required to receive the Zoom ID and password. Please sign up at least 15 minutes prior to the event.
