Home Alone Safety for Kids is a unique, interactive ninety minute workshop for boys and girls ages 8 to 13 years old who are left home alone. Students will discuss the importance of establishing house rules and learn to be more aware of the potential dangers that they could face when they are alone. This workshop will review first aid kit essentials and phone, door, and internet safety.
Each student will receive a workbook that covers complete indoor and outdoor home safety with topics including creating a family fire escape plan and the importance of an emergency contact list.
Parents or guardians are asked to attend the last five minutes of the course.
