Belden Library Hosts 'Mother Goose On The Loose' Online With Zoom

This nursery rhyme program that will help children gain prereading skills.

Mother Goose on the Loose is a nursery rhyme program that will help your child gain prereading skills. Join us for fun songs, rhymes and a story. Recommended for babies to three year old (or older) children with a parent or caregiver. Registration is required to obtain the meeting ID and password for Zoom, which you will receive via e-mail. (You will receive two e-mails, one will be a confirmation for signing up, and a second follow up e-mail with the Zoom login information.) Please download the “Zoom Cloud Meetings” app prior to pre-registering.

  • Find a place you can sit on the floor with your child because you will be interacting directly with them. Make sure you can see the camera on your computer or phone. You can choose to mute or not and reveal the video or not.
  • Find a scarf for your child and one for you to use during the movement time. It can be any small piece of fabric about 12-18" square or a rectangle, ideally one you can see through. If you can't find anything, you can just follow the motions for that part.
