Make your cell phone LOUDER with this homemade amplifier using household items. You may need a parent’s help with one or two steps. Recommended for kids in grades 1-5. Facilitated by Vanessa Kelman. Registration is required to obtain the meeting ID and password for Zoom, which you will receive via e-mail. (You will receive two e-mails, one will be a confirmation for signing up, and a second follow up e-mail with the Zoom login information.) Please download the “Zoom Cloud Meetings” app prior to pre-registering.

Supplies needed:

• Cardboard tube (paper towel size)
• Marker
• Sharp knife or scissors
• 2 disposable cups (plastic, foam, or paper)
• Tape
• Cell phone
