Make Some Cool Blackout Poetry at Home with These Kits! There are so many ways to creat a blackout poem! Basically you select random words on a pre-printed page that seem interesting and cross out all the rest to make your own blackout poem. The kit will contain instructions and materials including book pages for you to transform into your own creation. Have fun and use your creativity to cross out and decorate one or several using our supplies. The sky is the limit! Help us celebrate National Poetry Month by sending us pictures of your creations so we can post them on our social media accounts. Please send to jzappulla@rockyhillct.gov. Kits are recommended for ages 10 and up. They will be available for pick up on Monday, April 12th.
