Belden Public Library Hosts Composting Class Via Zoom

Are you thinking about starting a garden during the COVID-19 shutdown? Compost is an essential part of your planting success! Come learn how easy it is to make your own compost as home for FREE - using fruit and vegetable scraps from your kitchen, dry leaves from your yard, and even shredded paper. Compost adds nutrients to your soil, and helps cut down on trash waste. Start composting today! This program will be online with Zoom. Registration is required to receive the Zoom meeting ID and password. Once you sign up, you will receive a confirmation email followed by a second email containing the meeting ID.
