Bicyclist Hit By Vehicle In Rocky Hill: Police

The rider was taken to the hospital with critical injuries, according to report.

ROCKY HILL, CT — A bicyclist was badly hurt Saturday night after being hit by vehicle in town, according to the Rocky Hill Police Department.

The Hartford Courant reports the 70-year-old male bicyclist was critically injured in the incident, which was reported at about 9:49 p.m.

Rocky Hill police said the collision was in the area of 2301 Silas Deane Highway.

Police said the regional Mid-State Accident Reconstruction Team is investigating the incident.

The road in that area was closed for a bit of time Saturday night, while responders tended to the scene.
