ROCKY HILL, CT — A car careened down an embankment and forced state police to close the northbound Exit 24 Ramp on Interstate 91 late Thursday morning, state police said.

The crash took place just after 11:30 a.m., state police said. State police were urging drivers to reduce speed before driving into the area.
