Clock Ticking on 2 Top Lottery Prizes Sold in Hartford County

ROCKY HILL, CT — The winners of two $100,000 top prizes in the Connecticut Lottery's Cash5 game have less than 60 days to claim the money, lottery officials said Thursday.

Both winning tickets were sold in Hartford County on Aug. 3 and 9, respectively, lottery officials said.

The Cash5 winning numbers drawn on Aug. 3 were: 7-9-25-26-30.

The winner has only until Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2018 to claim the $100,000 top prize before the ticket expires.

The Cash5 winning numbers drawn on August 9, 2017 were: 1-11-12-20-24.

The winner has only until Monday, February 5, 2018 to claim their $100,000 top prize before their ticket expires.

All draw game tickets expire 180 calendar days from the draw date. To timely claim the prize, on or before a ticket’s expiration date, players can go to a CT Lottery retailer or Lottery Headquarters, where the retailer or the Lottery will validate a ticket through a terminal. CT Lottery Headquarters business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
