Cora J. Belden Library Hosts Pajama Storytime For Kids Via Zoom

Snuggly blankets and children's favorite stuffed animals are encouraged.

Tuesday, May 19, 7:00 p.m. (Tuesdays, April 28, May 5, 12, 19, and 26)

Our Pajama Storytime Live! Program allows you and your child to enjoy bedtime stories and songs from the comfort of your own home. Storytime helps your child gain prereading skills and improve their fine and large motor skills as well. This is a family program for babies or children and their parents or caregivers and is sponsored by the Friends of the Cora J. Belden Library. Registration is required to obtain the meeting ID and password for Zoom, which you will receive via e-mail. (You will receive two e-mails, one will be a confirmation for signing up, and a second follow up e-mail with the Zoom login information.) Please download the “Zoom Cloud Meetings” app prior to pre-registering.

  • Find a comfortable place for you to sit with your child because you will be interacting directly with them. Make sure you can see the camera on your computer, tablet or phone. On your Zoom screen you can choose to mute or not, and reveal video or not.
  • Please be thoughtful and to choose mute if it becomes too noisy on your end as it will directly affect the sound quality for others.
  • Comfy pajamas and snuggly blankets encouraged, as are your child’s favorite stuffed animals! The more the merrier!
