Here in Rocky Hill, we have close ties to the beautiful Connecticut River. From the bald eagles that fish in its waters, to the Rocky Hill ferry which crosses daily, to the annual spring flooding, the river is an always changing piece of Rocky Hill.

However, the beauty of the Connecticut river is under increasing threat from invasive aquatic plant species like the European Water Chestnut and Hydrilla, two plants which crowd out native species and fish and spread extremely rapidly.
