Cora J. Belden Library's Aug. 3 Make It Mondays Virtual Class Will Feature A 'Mystery Craft'

Are you ready to take the plunge? I hope so, because this week, Week 4 of Make It Mondays! we will be creating a mystery craft. I tell you, I fell in love with it the moment I clapped my eyes on it! Afterwards, you'll never look at this item's use the same way, and it's so inexpensive and simple to create that I know you'll want to make more and keep them for yourselves, or give them as gifts!

You'll receive no instructions beforehand, just register, pick-up your Make It Mondays! bag and enjoy the anticipation! The fourth week will seem so far away! I will give you a hint though, we will be working with glass and the architectural results will be both aesthetically pleasing and functional, the best of both worlds! As always, I'll walk you through it as we all create it together on Zoom. Oh goodness, I'm so excited for you, that I can barely wait for it myself! BEFORE THE PROGRAM you will be wondering what will we be making?! Hahaha! I'm not going to tell you!

In order to complete this craft, you will need to purchase or have on hand: painters tape (nothing too sticky, we don't want sticky goo on the glass), scissors, a small pair of pliers (or another pair of scissors you don't care about. These scissors will be working with metal), glue (either a small tube of E6000, clear is fine, which you can purchase at a craft store or Walmart, (or) a hot glue gun, (or) Gorilla glue. Please note REGULAR GLUE WILL NOT WORK WELL for this project, it isn't strong enough!)

A separate registration is required for each week's session. You will receive your Zoom login information by email. You will also be notified by email when your Make It Mondays! bag of supplies is ready to be picked up. The Make It Mondays! bag will contain MOST of the materials needed to complete your craft.
