CT Lottery Officials Announce Free Ticket Incentive

ROCKY HILL, CT — Connecticut Lottery officials on Monday announced a free ticket incentive that combines two popular games.

From now through Aug. 18, CT Lottery players who buy five Lotto games on a single ticket will receive a free $2 Lucky for Life Quick Pick ticket, officials said.

Players can go to any CT Lottery Retailer and participate in the promotion. The next Lotto drawing is Tuesday with an estimated $4.7 million jackpot up for grabs.

The estimated cash value is $3.8 million.

Lotto is Connecticut’s longest running jackpot game with drawings every Tuesday and Friday. The overall odds of winning are 1 in 39.3 and jackpot odds are 1 in 7,059,052.

Lucky for Life drawings take place every Monday and Thursday with a chance to win a top prize of $1,000 a day for a life, and nine other prize levels from $3 up to $25,000 a year for life. The overall odds of winning Lucky for Life are 1 in 7.8, based on a $2 play.
