Details of Fatal Rocky Hill Crash Released
The crash took place on Saturday and took the life of a Middletown man, state police said.

ROCKY HILL, CT — State police on Monday released the details of a fatal highway crash in Rocky Hill that took the life of a Middletown man on Saturday.
The crash took place at 3:05 a.m. Saturday when a UPS tractor-trailer was parked on the right shoulder of I-91 southbound, according to a crash report.
A 2012 Ford Fusion driven by 27-year-old Brian Gorman, of Manchester, was heading southbound when it veered to the right and slammed into the rear of the truck, according to a crash report.

A passenger in the Ford, 30-year-old Justin Wilkie, of Middletown, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a crash report.
Gorman suffered serious injuries and was taken to Hartford Hospital, according to a crash report.

The truck driver was not injured, state police said.
The crash remains under investigation, state police said.
