Donna Fournier: Long-time Town of Farmington Employee
The Rocky Hill resident passed away Oct. 12 at the age of 69.

Donna (Mirabello) Fournier, 69, of Rocky Hill, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 12, 2015 after a long, courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Hartford on January 4, 1946, she was the daughter of the late John and Catherine (Pugliese) Mirabello.

Donna was a Dean’s List graduate of Teikyo-Post University, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. She worked for many years for the Town of Farmington in the Building and Engineering Department.
She enjoyed reading and was an avid quilter and crafter. She also took great pride in her herb garden.

A loving mother and sister, Donna will be dearly missed by her three devoted children, Brenda Fournier of Newington, Robert Fournier of Cromwell and Jason Fournier of Rocky Hill; her brother, Frank Mirabello and his wife Joyce of Rocky Hill and her sister, Kathryn Mirabello of Rocky Hill. She is also survived by her nephew, David Manson, as well as many friends and her two beloved canine companions, Cameron and Skyler.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, October 16 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield. Funeral services and burial will be private.
Donations in Donna’s memory may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
