Grace Durgin is making a return visit to the Lodge at Cold Spring on Monday, August 22, with one of her newest programs, From This Day Forward: A Century of Wedding Traditions. The 12:30pm luncheon will be a mock wedding reception, as the dining room gets transformed into an elegant reception hall complete with white tablecloths, special centerpieces and a wedding cake! At 2pm, with a backdrop of wedding gowns from 1900 - 2000, Grace will review both old and new wedding traditions. Everyone who attends is encouraged to share wedding photos and anecdotes from their own wedding celebrations.
