Musical Instrument Donation Drive

Saturday, June 2nd Noon-2:00 PM
Rocky Hill High School Cafeteria

Are there old middle-school instruments taking up space in your garage, attic, or basement? Would you like a tax-deductible way to help your community AND clear out some clutter at the same time? The Rocky Hill School District is now eagerly accepting donations of working or non-working band and orchestra instruments of all kinds to create an instrument lending program for school-aged students. Instruments given to the program will be refurbished and loaned to kids, auctioned off to raise money for the program, or disassembled and used to repair other instruments.

After the conclusion of the donation drive a  donation  receipt  will  be  mailed  to  the  donor’s  home   for tax purposes.

Instruments accepted: violin, viola, cello, bass, flute, piccolo, clarinet, bass clarinet, E flat clarinet, oboe, english horn, bassoon, contrabassoon, trumpet, french horn, trombone, euphonium, tuba, snare drum, drum sets, cymbals, timpani, hand drums, steel drums, guitars, amps, electronic keyboards (no pianos please) etc. String instruments accepted in all sizes.

Bring instruments to the Rocky Hill High School cafeteria (back entrance) on Saturday, June 2nd from Noon to 2:00 PM. If you are unable to attend this time, please contact us, and we will arrange for a more suitable time. If you have questions or would like more information, please contact Jim Shuman at shumanj@rockyhillps.com.
