Rocky Hill Athletic Hall of Fame 10th Annual Induction Dinner

THE ROCKY HILL ATHLETIC HALL OF FAME 10TH ANNUAL INDUCTION DINNER

Seven individuals and a Rocky Hill High School State Championship team will be the newest inductees into the Rocky Hill Athletic Hall of Fame.  The Hall of Fame Committee has announced the following honorees will be members of the Class of 2012:

Doug Elliot, RHHS 2006 (Football and Baseball)

Kevin Lukas, RHHS 2002 (Football, Basketball and Baseball)

Peter Roman, RHHS 1975 (Soccer)

Patrick Sullivan, RHHS 1966 (Soccer)

Diane Zaniewski, RHHS 2003 (Soccer)

Cara Pizzo, RHHS 2012, Rachel Carey Spirit Award

Chuck Veneziano, John J. McVicar Distinguished Service Award

1979 RHHS Boys State Championship Soccer Team

The above notables will be inducted at the 10^th Annual Induction Dinner which will be held at the Rocky Hill Marriott on Saturday, June 2, 2012. 

Reservations and information on tickets for this event can be obtained by contacting Pete Egan at 860-529-4646 or via e-mail at rhhof123@att.net.   The event will begin at 5:45 P.M. with a cocktail hour to be held in the Marriot’s outdoor courtyard.  Dinner will be served in the Grand Ballroom at 7:00 P.M. followed by the Induction Ceremony.   

Arnold Dean (“The Dean of Sports”) will once again act as master of ceremonies and introduce the newest inductees at the dinner.  In addition to welcoming in the new class of inductees, all previously inducted Rocky Hill Athletic Hall of Fame members and former committee members are invited back for special recognition during this event to celebrate 10 great years in Rocky Hill athletics.
