
The Sail Connecticut Access Program will hold its first open house of the year this weekend.
The group, better known simply as Sail Connecticut, seeks to introduce the physically and mentally challenged to the physically and mentally demanding experience of serving as part of an actual sailing crew.

The open-house will be Saturday from 9:30 am to 2 pm. at Brewer’s Pilot’s Point Marina in Westbrook. The organization uses the “O” Dock located in the South Yard. There will be a cookout during the open house.
The program is looking for volunteers as skippers and mates and anyone interested is asked to visit the program's website.
