In acknowledgment of Brain Injury Awareness month, we are excited to announce the opening of our new clinic, the FIRST and ONLY Brain Restore Center in all of Connecticut. Brain Restore Centers is a nationwide initiative, lead by experts across every medical speciality to finally tackle the problem of concussion, brain injury and cognitive decline rapidly increasing across our country. While Brain Injury and Cognitive Decline is on the rise in our country, our clinic is offering Free Advanced FDA-approved RightEye Exam to all Connecticut residents in an attempt to help give people in our communities a detailed deep dive into understanding the “WHY” behind what they are experiencing. Many members of our communities silently struggle with lingering symptoms of head injuries, PTSD, brain fog, depression, anxiety, and memory loss, and we want to give back by providing hope and help through real, science-backed brain health solutions. This community is part of a nationwide initiative supported locally to raise awareness about the brain’s ability to heal through modern therapies such as neurofeedback EEG detailed functional brain scan, low-level laser therapy, Neuro-rehabilitation Exercises, and neuro-functional medicine. S.P.A.R.K.&nbsp;stands for&nbsp;Science. Play. Action. Research. Knowledge,&nbsp;and that’s exactly what the morning is all about. Students will dive into interactive labs, ask big questions, and explore how science connects to the world around them.
Throughout the morning, students will rotate through all three engaging sessions:
Snack Science: Cracking the Code of Carbs, Fats &amp; Proteins
Students will test everyday foods to uncover the building blocks of life - carbohydrates, lipids, and proteins.
From Cabbage to Chemistry: A Color-Changing Exploration of pH
Using red cabbage as a natural indicator, students will experiment with acids and bases and watch chemistry come alive in vibrant color.
Air Apparent: The Invisible Force All Around Us
Through hands-on experiments, students will explore the properties of air—and discover just how powerful something invisible can be.
