Fair Weather Growers Expands Pick-Your-Own Strawberry Fields for 2026 Season

Fair Weather Growers is excited to announce the return and major expansion of its popular Pick-Your-Own Strawberry program at the Rocky Hill Community Farm for the 2026 season.

Due to growing demand and continued interest in local farm experiences, Fair Weather Growers has expanded its strawberry production from 2 acres to 5 acres, creating more opportunities for families and visitors to enjoy fresh strawberry picking throughout the season.

Located at the corner of New Road and New Britain Avenue in Rocky Hill, the Pick-Your-Own Strawberry fields are expected to open in early June, weather permitting, and continue through approximately the third week of June while berries are available.

Pick-Your-Own Strawberry Details

Location: Rocky Hill Community Farm, Corner of New Road & New Britain Avenue, Rocky Hill, CT

Season: Expected to begin in early June 2026 (Weather dependent)

Hours: Typically open daily from 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Weather and field conditions permitting)

Visitors can enjoy the experience of harvesting their own strawberries directly from the field while supporting local agriculture and spending time outdoors on one of the region’s preserved community farm properties.

The Rocky Hill Community Farm, an 84.5-acre preserved agricultural property, continues to grow as a destination for local food, farming, and community engagement.
