First-Ever $3 Million Mega Millions Ticket Sold in Connecticut
CT Lottery officials are searching for a $3 million winner.

ROCKY HILL, CT — For the first time ever, a ticket worth $3 million has been sold in the Connecticut Lottery's segment of the Mega Millions game.
Someone purchased a $3,000,000 winning ticket at The Cork Fine Wine & Spirits on 1597 E Main Street in Torrington.
The winning numbers drawn on May 11 were: 14-38-40-53-70. The Mega Ball number was 22 and the Megaplier number was 3.

The player matched five numbers, CT Lottery officials said.
Since the player added the Megaplier for an extra $1, the $1 million prize was multiplied to $3 million, according to lottery officials.

It marked the first time the multi-state game has had a $3 million prize in Connecticut, officials said.
All draw game tickets expire 180 calendar days from the draw date.
Players can check their tickets online at CTLOTTERY.ORG, by scanning them at a lottery Ticket Checker, by using the official CT Lottery Mobile App, or at any lottery retailer location.
