Foreclosed Rocky Hill Office Building Sells for $3.5 Million
Complex at 100-200 Corporate Place previously sold for $10.1 million in 2005.

The office building at 100-200 Corporate Place in Rocky Hill, foreclosed on in March, is now under new ownership.
The 109,000-square-foot complex, currently about 70 percent vacant, was recently purchased by Cheshire real estate investor Ralph Carbone for $3.5 million, less than half the price paid by its previous owner, Irving Bork, in 2005.

Carbone, who owns Connecticut Computer Service Inc., said he plans to put about $2 million into renovating the building and grounds in an effort to attract new tenants. He has had success turning around smaller office complexes. This deal is his largest to date, according to a story in the Hartford Courant.
